Norway manager Age Hareide might have to do without the experienced Steffen Iversen for his side’s qualifier with Scotland on Saturday.
Iversen, currently under contract at Rosenborg BK, is dealing with a shinbone injury and missed training on Tuesday.
Another possible doubt is Aston Villa forward John Carew, who skipped Tuesday’s session as result of a neck injury. However, team medic Lars Angebretsen expects Carew to be fit in time.
The Norwegians face two tough qualifiers in the coming week. After their clash with Scotland, which is expected to be a crucial match for second place in this group, the Scandinavians face group favorites the Netherlands on Wednesday.
