Real Sociedad are considering a summer bid for Utrecht striker Jacob Mulenga, according to Spanish daily Marca.
The club officials are aware they need to add more bodies to the squad after the team qualified for the Champions League.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Utrecht forward Jacob Mulenga is one of the players they are currently looking at.
Mulenga is a much cheaper alternative to some of their other targets seeing as how he only has one year left on his contract with the Dutch Eredivisie side.
The Zambia international has spent last four years at the club, having joined from Chateauroux, scoring a total of 24 goals in 84 league matches. He has been in fine form this term, managing 14 goals in 31 league fixtures.
Mulenga is reportedly looking for a new challenge and he would probably jump at the opportunity to test his skills in one of Europe’s top competitions.
