Januzaj closing in on Everton loan switch

Everton are set to sign Adnan Januzaj on a season long loan from Manchester United in the summer, according to the Daily Star.

The Belgium international broke into the United first team last season under David Moyes, and has so far racked up fifty-five appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals in the process.

However, he has made just eight stars this campaign, and was an unused substitute as Louis van Gaal’s men were defeated by the Toffee’s at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

He did play ninety minutes for Manchester United’s U21s as they beat Fulham at Craven Cottage yesterday evening and looks like he will have to move on, even if only on a temporary basis, if he is to get regular first team action next season.

Everton’s victory at the weekend was their fourth in five games, and they can be backed at 13/8 to win at Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
