Valencia captain Jeremy Mathieu is trying to engineer a summer switch to Barcelona, according to AS.

But, with Valencia not ready to accept offers below €20 million, the negotiations seem to have hit a standstill.
Jeremy Mathieu is reportedly desperate to see the deal materialize, which is why he has informed the club officials of his desire to move to Camp Nou.
And while los Che are not looking to lower their asking price, it is believed that the two sides could ultimately reach an agreement.
New Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is a big fan of the French defender, who is equally adept at playing at centre-back and left-back.
The 30-year-old has spent last five years at Mestalla, scoring 6 goals in 126 La Liga outings.
