Jese Rodriguez ponders winter exit

Catalan daily newspaper Sport has suggested that Real Madrid starlet Jese Rodriguez’s future at Santiago Bernabeu is in doubt.

The 22-year-old was expected to serve as back-up to starting striker Karim Benzema this season, and he did start the opening La Liga fixture against Sporting Gijon as the Frenchman was unavailable through injury.

However, Jese has since failed to get a single minute of action in next four matches and even coach Rafael Benitez moved to confirm that the striker was now behind Lucas Vazquez in the pecking order.

The player himself is reportedly far from happy with the current situation and he may express his desire to leave los Blancos if things remain the same.

Jese Rodriguez enjoyed a bright start to his career at Real Madrid, scoring 8 goals in first 7 La Liga starts, but then went on to miss around eight months of action through a knee ligament injury.
