Jesus Navas refutes rumours of a La Liga return

Talksport understands Manchester City winger Jesus Navas winger has dismissed reports linking him with a return to Spain.

The twenty-nine year old is currently with City preparing for their Champions League tie with his former employers Sevilla – one of the clubs linked with a bid for him.

However, Navas has insisted that he is focused on working with the Premier League leaders despite only completing the full ninety minutes in five of their nine games so far.

Since moving to the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2013, the Spain international has racked up over a hundred appearances in all competitions scoring seven goals, while he won the Premier League and League Cup in his first season in England.

He has been capped thirty-four times for his country and was part of their 2010 World Cup winning squad, and that that won the European Championships two years later.
