Joshua Kimmich set for new Bayern deal

German magazine Kicker is reporting that Bayern Munich starlet Joshua Kimmich is set to extend his contract at Allianz Arena.

The central midfielder who has often been used at right-back has more than two years left on his current deal, but will now extend for another two or three years.

In spite of the fierce competition for places at Allianz Arena, Kimmich has been playing on regular basis, amassing 71 Bundesliga appearances and scoring 7 goals.

Kimmich also impressed representing Germany in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying, spending every single minute on the pitch in 10 qualifiers.

The 23-year-old will now be rewarded for his excellent performances and loyalty with a new and improved contract at Allianz Arena.
