Brazilian centre-back Juan said he is very satisfied to have completed his first training session with Inter Milan since his January transfer.
After lengthy negotiations, the 20-year-old defender came to the San Siro from Brazilian club Internacional for an undisclosed fee in the mid-season transfer window, and signed a contract until June 2016 with the Serie A side.
Last weekend’s league match away to Roma came too soon for Juan, but the defender is nearing his debut after featuring in Tuesday’s training session for the first time.
“I’m a bit tired, but I’m relaxed. I’m happy and content. I hadn’t worked out on the pitch for a while, but it all went well,” Juan told the official Inter website.
“I want to send my warmest embraces to the Nerazzurri fans.”
Juan could make his official Inter bow in Sunday’s league match at home to Novara.
