Juve and Chelsea to battle it out for Brazilian whiz kid

According to latest reports, Juventus have joined the race to sign Brazilian teenage sensation Neymar.

Chelsea have tried to sign the 18-year-old this summer but without any success, although the Blues are set for another attempt in January.

However, they face a stiff competition from Juventus, since the Serie A side see Neymar as the perfect addition to their renovated team.

Juventus officials have reportedly opened talks with Santos in an attempt to lower the £32 million asking price with the Bianconeri looking to get the best value for money.

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old striker has missed out on the latest Brazil squad after being suspended by his club for offending his teammates and coach Dorival Junior, who was sacked shortly after the incident.
