Juve keen on cut-price Falcao deal

Juventus are the latest club to be linked with a move to end Radamel Falcao’s Manchester United misery with the Serie A Champions eyeing a cut-price bid for the Colombia international, according to the Daily Star.

The 29 year old moved to Old Trafford on loan from Monaco in the summer but has so far underwhelmed with just four goals coming in twenty-one appearances in all competitions.

With three years remaining on his contract, the Ligue One side value their star man at around £43m, but due to his well-documented struggle with form, Juve are confident that they can agree on a fee of around half that amount.

Falcao was a late substitute in United’s 3-0 win over fellow top-four hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, a result that moved them to within two points of second place Manchester City.

They can now be backed at a price of 8/13 to finish the season in the Champions League qualification places.
