Juventus agree deal for Brazilian defender

Italian champions Juventus are finally set to complete the purchase for FC Porto defender Alex Sandro, according to A Bola.

The Brazilian was always their primary target for the left back position, but at one point it looked as though they would miss out on the 24-year-old footballer.

Nevertheless, it has now been revealed that Juventus had a €22 million proposal accepted for the talented defender, while the total transfer fee could rise to €25 million.

Alex Sandro is expected to undergo medical tests in Turin during the day before signing a five-year contract worth €2.5 million per campaign.

This means that Juventus only need to recruit another attacking midfielder before the transfer window closes and they are reportedly closing in on Julian Draxler.

After winning four straight Italian Serie A titles, the Bianconeri can be backed at 4/6 to make it five on the bounce and continue domestic domination.
