Juventus agree deal for fourth league striker

Juventus have agreed a deal to sign forward Alessio Di Massimo from Avezzano, the Serie D club announced on its official website.

The Bianconeri have followed the youngster’s performances of late and they decided to make their interest concrete ahead of the January transfer window.

Di Massimo has arrived in Turin to undergo medical examination and he has been given permission to train with Juventus until the transfer is completed on 15 November.

The 19-year-old will initially join the club’s youth side, but will also be under a watchful eye of coach Max Allegri.

Di Massimo has been bagging goals for fun playing for Avezzano and many believe he can have a great future in the game.

Juventus officials are clearly convinced he has what it takes to play at the highest level and it remains to be seen whether the youngster will be loaned out in January or given a chance to prove his worth in the senior side.
