Juventus approach Bayern Munich over Douglas Costa move

Unsettled Brazil winger Douglas Costa is looking for a move away from Bayern Munich and is widely expected to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old is frustrated with chronic lack of playing opportunities under manager Carlo Ancelotti and has already made his intentions public.

Douglas Costa has made only 14 Bundesliga starts in a season which got marked with a series of minor injuries which only make thing worse for the flamboyant Brazilian.

Costa has been linked with Premier League giants Liverpool, but Corriere dello Sport today reports that Serie A champions Juventus have already set a plan to grab Costa in motion.

High-ranked officials lead by Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta are expected to meet their counterparts from the Bavarian club in order to discuss possible summer deal for the winger.

Juventus and Bayern Munich have a long-standing business relationship which currently involved defenders Mehdi Benatia and winger Kingsley Coman, whose futures are also expected to be discussed.
