Juventus club administrator Jean-Claude Blanc insists they have no intention of replacing Claudio Ranieri.

There were reports in English media earlier today that the Serie A club wanted to replace Ranieri with Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.

Juventus have had a poor start to their season and are currently 11th in the Serie A.

Blanc said: “I understand the concerns of the fans but we will not make a coaching change.

“We have complete trust in Ranieri, just as the Juve president said on Sunday. I can confirm that 100 per cent.

“With Ranieri, with his coaching staff, with the medical staff we will analyse the situation in order to find solutions to see Juve return to be the team we saw at the end of August.

“Juventus have the capacity, the history, the inner strength to come out and continue a project that will make our fans proud to be Bianconeri supporters.”

It’s not a good sign when the management has to come out to the public and press to reassure their commitment to Ranieri. If they have to do this, you know it’s only a matter of time till he’s gone.
