Portuguese media outlet A Bola has learned that Juventus are on the verge of signing Brazilian midfielder Danilo Barbosa da Silva from Sporting Braga.
The Bianconeri have reportedly been impressed with the holding midfielder and they are eager to lure him to Turin at the earliest opportunity.
According to A Bola, well known agent Jorge Mendes is working on the transfer believed to be worth around €8 million.
Juventus have been on the lookout for midfield reinforcements, but they have surprised quite a few people with their move for the player who only has 18 senior appearances to his name.
Danilo, 18, joined Sporting Braga from Vasco da Gama this summer and he did well to nail down a regular starting berth at Estadio AXA, making 8 starts in Portuguese Primeira Liga.
His suitors Juventus host high flyers Sampdoria later today and they are available at 1/3 to claim maximum points at their Juventus Arena.
