French superstar Zinedine Zidane has revealed that Juventus did not want to sell him to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Zidane commented on the deal while given evidence regarding the Calciopoli scandal involving former Juventus directors.
“The Juventus directors maintained a negative attitude regarding the move,” Zidane told La Stampa.
“The relationship between my agent Alain Migliaccio and the club started to crack.
“Then we spoke to one of Moggi’s solicitors D’Onofrio who had good relationships with Bettega, Giraudo and Moggi, and his intervention was the factor which determined the outcome.”
Zidane joined Real Madrid in 2001 for a world record transfer fee of around 52million euros.

I agree with Zizzou on who has the wherewithal to take over Les Blue should Raymond call it a quit.Deshamp after meeting we Old ladies from a precarious situation never rested on his oars, his heriocs took us out of the wood though no longer with us but has left behind an indelible footprint.Frankly speaking I acquise with Zizzou the great,it is high time Raymond started thinking about the exit door as he has no more idea or magical wound to salvage situation for the Les Blue.Long Live Zizzou
