Juventus eye Ozil bid

Juventus are lining up a shock move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, according to the Metro.

With Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirilo already having moved on to pastures new and Paul Pogba likely to follow suit, the Italian champions are keen to bring in reinforcements as they bid to win a fourth straight title.

Juve have already brought in Sami Khedira from Real Madrid, and international teammate of Ozil, while the pair also played together for over three years in La Liga.

Ozil, who began his career with Schalke 04, has spent the majority of the last two years with the Gunners – racking up seventy-one appearances in all competitions, scoring twelve goals and winning back to back FA Cup medals.

Internationally, the twenty-six year old has eighteen goals in sixty-six appearances for Germany, and was part of the squad that won last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
