Juventus eyeing Alves, Abate; Chelsea and Monaco battle for Bruma

hot-transfer-newsJuventus eyeing Alves, Abate

Juventus are keeping close tabs on highly rated defenders Daniel Alves and Ignazio Abate, Tuttosport has learned.

The Bianconeri have signed some high-quality players on a free transfer over the last couple of years, with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Fernando Llorente and Kingsley Coman all joining without compensation.

Juventus officials obviously plan to stay true to the successful transfer strategy as they are showing interest in Dani Alves and Ignazio Abate.

Given that Stephan Lichtsteiner is nowhere near to signing a new deal in Turin and is also followed by Paris Saint-Germain, the Bianconeri are on the lookout for a new right-sided defender.

And considering that Dani Alves and Ignazio Abate will both be out of contract in the summer, they appear to be perfect targets.

Juventus face Milan at San Siro tomorrow evening hoping to keep their 100% record intact, with away win paying 5/4.

Chelsea and Monaco battle for Bruma

Chelsea and Monaco are readying January bids for Galatasaray winger Armindo Bruma, Fotomac can reveal.

The 19-year-old has remained on the radar of Europe’s top clubs despite missing the big chunk of last season through injury and he could be leaving Turkey as early as January.

According to Fotomac, both Chelsea and Monaco are ready to step up their interest in the winter and match an €18 million asking price.

Armindo Bruma came through the youth ranks at Sporting Lisbon and he needed just 13 league appearances for the Lions to catch the eye of top European sides.

The talented footballer joined Galatasaray last summer, but he only managed seven league outings for the club during his first season having picked up a knee injury.

Bruma has since returned into action and started both league matches this season under new boss Cesare Prandelli.

Benfica to sell key players in January

Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo has learned that Benfica aim to sell one or two important players in the January transfer window.

While the Eagles cashed in on Garay, Markovic, Cardozo and Oblak in the summer, the likes of Enzo Perez, Nicolas Gaitan and Eduardo Salvio were also linked with moves away from the club.

And it is one or two of these footballers that are expected to leave in the winter seeing as how Benfica chiefs plan to further improve the financial situation by selling one or two key members of the squad.

The number of players to leave in January will depend on team’s displays over the next few months, and potential early exit from the Champions League could have a major effect on club’s transfer dealings.

While Enzo Perez was on the verge of joining Valencia and still remains on los Che radar, Nicolas Gaitan and Eduardo Salvio have been linked with a host of Premier League clubs.

In case Benfica officials succeed in their quest to sell their stars at a top price, they will immediately sign them replacements to give the new recruits time to adapt to the new surroundings and prepare them for the next season.
