Juventus eyeing Barca’s Pedro

Catalan media outlet Sport has learned that Juventus are showing interest in Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez.

The Bianconeri are always on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and with Sebastian Giovinco widely expected to leave in January, they could make a move on the Spain international.

Pedro has started the last two league fixtures for the Catalans, but chances are he will be relegated to the bench when Luis Suarez returns into action.

And with Mounir El Haddadi, Rafinha and Sandro Ramirez showing a great deal of potential, the 27-year-old may decide to quit Camp Nou in the near future.

Pedro, who has scored a total of 52 goals in 172 La Liga outings for Barcelona, has another two years left on his current contract.

The Catalans host APOEL Nicosia tomorrow evening at the start of the new Champions League campaign, and they are mere 1/16 to see off their less illustrious opponents.
