Juventus hope to bring Sturaro in January

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Juventus will attempt to add midfielder Stefano Sturaro to their ranks in the January transfer window.

The Bianconeri recruited the talented footballer from Genoa last summer for a fee of €5.5 million, before loaning the youngster back to Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Juventus officials, however, hope to find an agreement with the Rossoblu that would see Sturaro move to Turin ahead of schedule.

The Bianconeri are hardly spoilt for options in the centre of the park and they believe the 21-year-old would be a good addition to the squad in the second part of the season.

Stefano Sturaro came through the youth ranks at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and started showing his potential last season after returning from a loan spell with Modena.

The youngster has since amassed 27 Serie A appearances and scored one goal, while also becoming an important member of Italy Under-21 side.
