Juventus in for Griezmann

Juventus have decided to join the race for Antoine Griezmann, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Following the comprehensive Champions League home defeat to Real Madrid, it seems that the people running the Serie A champions have come to a conclusion that a team overhaul is needed if they mean to taste success in Europe, and Griezmann is their first-choice option in attack.

There have been plenty of reports, mostly from Catalan media outlets, that the Atletico Madrid forward is interested in a move to Barcelona, with the Blaugrana keen on the deal as well. The reports even claimed he would be willing to accept a salary lower than his status warrants (though supplemented by lucrative bonus possibilities) in order not to disrupt the wage structure and Barcelona.

But now, if Juventus are really keen on his signature, things might get more complicated. An offer from the Turin club is hardly any player would brush aside without careful consideration.
