Italian champions Juventus are not giving up on Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, Tuttosport can reveal.
While they expect to secure the signature of Paulo Dybala, the Bianconeri officials are also working hard in an attempt to recruit the Uruguayan forward.
Juventus representatives are set to meet with Cavani’s agents as they plan to present them a lucrative offer for their client, hoping to win the chase for the striker’s signature.
Namely, the Bianconeri have drafted a four-year deal for the Uruguayan worth €7 million per season.
Even if Cavani is currently earning €10 million at Parc des Princes, he appears determined to leave the Saints in the summer as he feels under-appreciated at the club.
A summer move to Juventus would allow the Uruguayan to play an important role at a club that challenges for major honours, and he seems prepared to accept a pay cut in order to complete his move to Turin.
