Juventus join Wilshere chase

The Mirror understands that Juventus are the latest side to be linked with a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Serie A champions are monitoring the situation of the twenty-five year old, who appears to be surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium with Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka ahead of him in the pecking order.

A host of Premier League outfits are also interested in signing the England international, as are fellow Italian side Sampdoria.

Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, turning out for them twenty-seven times in the Premier League with his final match – a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur – the two hundredth appearance of his career at club level.

More than three quarters of those games have come for Arsenal, with whom helped win back-to-back FA Cups in 2014 and 2015 while internationally he has been capped thirty-four times for his country, scoring twice.
