Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on FC Porto full-back Ricardo Pereira, according to A Bola.
With Martin Caceres widely expected to leave, the Bianconeri are in the market for a right-sided defender who would challenge Stephan Lichtsteiner for a starting berth.
The latest reports suggest that FC Porto’s Ricardo Pereira is one of the names on their hit-list following an impressive campaign with Nice.
The 22-year-old was loaned to the Ligue 1 side last summer, and he has since been named the best full-back in France’s top flight by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).
Pereira has made a total of 24 league appearances as Nice enjoyed one of their most successful campaigns yet, mounting a serious challenge for Champions League positions.
Chances are the right-back will not be staying with les Aiglons beyond the summer, but it remains to be seen whether he will be joining a top European club instead.
