Juventus have made an enquiry into the availability of Fiorentina midfielder Valon Behrami, Tuttosport reveals.
The Bianconeri are negotiating a sale of Amauri to Fiorentina and they have used the talks to make a check on Valon Behrami.
Boss Antonio Conte is short of options in the centre of the park after switching to 4-3-3 and he believes the Swiss international would be a good addition to the squad.
The Old Lady are hoping to bring the 26-year-old in January, but it remains to be seen whether Viola are willing to negotiate.
Behrami arrived to Artemio Franchi a year ago from West Ham and has since impressed everyone at the club.
The battling midfielder started 16 Serie A games this season, missing one match through suspension.
Behrami has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs over the last few months, but Juventus are the first club to make their interest concrete.

All I remember of Valon is when he got a red card last summer, during the World Cup, with Switzerland against Chile and the red card following their inevitable loss to Chile, which ultimately lead to the demise of Swiss moving to the next stage in the WC. lol
