Juventus not giving up on Ogbonna; Inter keen on Felipe Melo

hot-transfer-newsJuventus not giving up on Ogbonna

Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna, Tuttosport has revealed.

Everything suggests the Italy international will be sold in the summer with Serie A’s top clubs lining up for his services.

Napoli seem to be keen on luring the player to Stadio San Paolo, but it appears he would prefer to join either Milan or Juventus.

The Bianconeri are ready to meet the €15 million asking price, but they have to find a way to persuade Torino chairman Urbano Cairo to sell his star player to their arch rivals.

Juventus officials, nonetheless, believe they can win the race for the player’s signature and are even prepared to include one of Manolo Gabbiadini, Ciro Immobile or Richmond Boakye in the deal.

Angelo Ogbonna, 24, is widely regarded as one of the best central defenders in Serie A and it appears he has set his sights on leaving Torino for greener pastures.

Inter keen on Felipe Melo

Inter Milan are pondering a summer move for Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

Signing a high-profile central midfielder is a priority for the Nerazzurri, and they continue to be linked with a plethora of players.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, they are seriously thinking about making a move for Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.

The Brazilian has impressed while on loan at Galatasaray, but the Turkish side opted against making the transfer permanent for €6.5 million.

This basically means that Melo is set to return to Juventus, although there is every chance he will be allowed to move on in the summer.

The 29-year-old recently hinted that he would either join a top European club or return to South America, so no doubt he would be interested to hear what Inter have to offer.

City and Schalke submit proposals for Bruma

Portuguese daily Record has learnt that Manchester City and Schalke have made official offers for Sporting Lisbon winger Armindo Bruma.

The talented footballer has largely impressed in his first ever professional season at Estadio Jose Alvalade, with the likes of Bayern and Arsenal already expressing interest.

However, Record has suggested that Manchester City and Schalke were the first sides to submit official proposals for the player, with both clubs offering €5 million for the 18-year-old.

Sporting chiefs are not too keen on parting ways with one of the hottest prospects to have come out from club’s youth academy in recent years, but they have got to consider any proposal for their players due to difficult financial situation.

Despite his fragile age, Bruma has already nailed down a regular starting berth at Jose Alvalade, making 13 Primeira Liga appearances for the Lions this season.

However, it looks as though he won’t be staying at Sporting for much longer, with top European clubs determined to sign him in the summer transfer window.
