Juventus plan new assault on Verratti

Juventus are ready to reignite their interest in Marco Verratti, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Bianconeri missed out on the talented midfielder as he opted to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, but they have continued to follow the player’s development.

Juventus officials hope the poor atmosphere at Parc des Princes will make the player consider a return to Italian Serie A, in which case the Old Lady would be hot favourites to sign him.

Marco Verratti is a big fan of the Bianconeri and is seen by the club chiefs as a perfect replacement for Andrea Pirlo.

His price is now much higher than it was in the summer, but that is only fair after the player proved his worth at the highest level.

There is absolutely no doubt the Serie A champions will make a move for Verratti, and they are only waiting for the right time to materialize their interest.
