A report from Gazzetta dello Sport states that Juventus has shown interest in bringing in Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches to reinforce their midfield.
Juve has made some big moves already during the transfer window, and are apparently still looking for potential targets to bring to Turin.
After being linked to a move to AC Milan early on, the 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder has apparently caught the eye of Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Since exploding onto the scene after his stellar performance in the 2016 European tournament, Sanches made his €35 million move from Benfica to Bayern.
In his first year with the Bavarian giants, Sanches appeared in 25 total matches and failed to tally a goal or an assist all season.
With such a flat start at Bayern, the young Portuguese star hopes to regain his form that made him a darling in the Euros by potentially joining another talented club, the likes of Juventus, where he will hope to have more playing time.
