Juventus starlet in high demand

Juventus forward Domenico Berardi has been the subject of interest from a number of top European clubs, according to Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri have acquired 50% of the player’s rights from Sassuolo in the deal taking Luca Marrone in the opposite direction, even though the youngster will remain with the newly promoted side this season.

A three-match ban has prevented him from making his Serie A debut, and there are quite a few clubs waiting to see Berardi strut his stuff in Italy’s elite division.

Tuttosport has suggested that Manchester United, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund are all keeping close tabs on the 19-year-old.

Berardi is widely tipped to become the next star of Italian football and he has been likened to Arjen Robben and Nani due to his playing style.

The youngster largely impressed in his first ever senior season, scoring 11 goals in 37 matches to help Sassuolo gain promotion to Serie A.
