Juventus has tried to bring Xabi Alonso to the club since the beginning of the transfer window. Rumours of bids both accepted and denied were common-place; several sums had been mentioned, but no fee could be actually agreed upon. Now, it emerges that the Italian giants have finally agreed a deal with Liverpool for the gifted midfielder.
Sentants Sports reports that a £14.2 million fee has bee struck between the two clubs. Now, all that needs to be done is for the player to agree to personal terms with the Italian team, who have already signed Sissoko from the English giants earlier this year.
