Werder Bremen ace Diego has admitted he would like a move to the Serie A in the future.
The Brazillian who started his career at Santos, was linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus this summer.
“Was I close to joining any of the Italian clubs last summer? There was contact, but I have a contract with Werder and now I think only about my club,” Diego told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Would I like to play in Serie A one day? At Bremen I am fine, but in future I’d love to play in Serie A.”
Diego and Werder Bremen will face Inter at San Siro in the Champions League tonight.
