Juventus are ready to offer exciting youngster Sebastian Giovinco a new deal that will keep him at the Old Lady until 2012.

Juventus directors Alessio Secco and Jean-Claude Blanc have started negotiations with Giovinco’s agents Claudio Pasqualin and Andrea D’Amico, over the youngster’s future.

It has been reported in Italian media that Juventus directors believes Giovinco could be the right man to build the team around in the future.

Giovinco’s agent Claudio Pasqualin said: “We share the same intentions. Generally we are on the same page, but we haven’t sorted out the numbers yet.

“Both sides understand that we are dealing with a diamond that will shortly shine with al its splendour.”

Premiership side Arsenal tried to sign the youngster during the summer, while Russian giants CSKA Moscow made an offer for Giovinco last season.
