Highly-rated Boca Juniors starlet Rodrigo Bentancur is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world football and the 19-year-old has already attracted a lot of attention in the game.
AC Milan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid have all been alerted by Bentancur’s talents, but it is Serie A champions Juventus who have apparently won the race for the signature of the Uruguayan teenager.
Bianconeri have secured the first option to sign Bentancur as part of the deal which saw Carlos Tevez return to his boyhood club a year ago and according to the Argentinean media outlet Ole the option has been exercised this week.
Juventus representatives held a meeting with their Boca Juniors counterparts on Monday when a €9.46 million deal has reportedly been arranged. The transfer of the young Uruguay star will be made official imminently after a couple of details have been finalized.
Bentancur is expected to move to Turin next summer even though Juventus have the option to take their man as early as January 2017.
