Ulsan have held on for a 4-3 victory over Sangju Sangmu in the K.League with Kim Shin-Wook scoring a hat-trick for the victors.
Kim put Ulsan in front in just the sixth minute on Wednesday before Rafinha doubled the visitors’ lead 14 minutes later.
Ryu Chang-Hyun hit back for Sangju in the 30th minute but Ulsan ensured they reinstated their two-goal lead by half-time when Kim scored his second just before the break.
Kim wrapped up his hat-trick in the 71st minute and Ulsan looked like they would cruise to victory but the home side fought back through two goals from Kim Jae-Sung, although Sangju failed to find an equaliser.
League-leaders Seoul claimed their sixth victory in eight matches when they thumped Chunnam Dragons 3-0.
Sergio Escudero scored Seoul’s first goal in the 13th minute before Montenegrin attacker Dejan Damjanovic added another after 25 minutes.
Any chance of a comeback by Chunnam was eliminated 13 minutes into the second half when Damjanovic scored his second goal.
In other results on Wednesday, Daegu defeated Gangwon 2-0, Pohang Steelers knocked off Gwangju 1-0 and Gyeongnam won 2-0 over Busan I’Park.
