(GSM) – Kaka was dropped from the Real Madrid squad that faced Almeria on Saturday (4-2 win). Today, it became clear that Real will be without the Brazilian midfielder until January.

Kaka suffered an acute groin strain in Real’s 1-0 defeat away to Barcelona on November 29 and has not played since. The Brazil international will miss Real’s last Champions League group match against Olympique Marseille. The Spanish giants can afford to lose by two goals.

Guti and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who are both troubled by thigh injuries, will also miss the game against Marseille. Christoph Metzelder is also out for Tuesday’s match. The German defender suffers from a hamstring injury.
