AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the “Kaka soap has definitely ended”, adding that the situation ended in the best way possible.

Kaka had been linked to clubs as Manchester City and even Real Madrid in recent weeks but eventually opted to remain at San Siro.

“It has been a very strange time for the player, but he recuperated enthusiasm now that things have calmed down, which allowed him to rediscover his spirit,” Ancelotti said.

About David Beckham, the manager added: “I was expecting a player that would have difficulties to adapt, but his intelligence and education allowed him to fit in very well.”
