The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Chelsea attacker Salomon Kalou could be on his way to Anfield this summer.
The Ivory Coast international is out of contract at Stamford Bridge and could relish the opportunity of working with new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers at Chelsea earlier in his career.
Kalou has not found himself in the starting eleven for the majority of time at Chelsea and may now want to show he is a top quality Premier League player.
In terms of who else may be interested – according to the Daily Mail, Schalke are currently in the hot seat to sign the 26-year-old.
After achieving almost everything the game has to offer in his time at Chelsea, Kalou may welcome a move away from the Premier League – it would certainly be a new challenge for him.
New manager at the London side Roberto Di Matteo was a man who did give the forward more pitch time and he helped the side upset all of the odds and win the Champions League.
Whatever happens – the fight for Kalou is likely to be much talked about in the transfer market this summer with plenty of clubs chasing his signature.
We shall see!

its not just strikers, liverpool need a strong defence.. d only 2 proper defenders dey hav r agger and skrtel… they need to strenghthen their back line as well… dey gotta stop conceding goals in order to achieve anything… coates isnt good enough and carragher is past his prime
what will liverpool be doing with kalou??? Sturridge, Sigurdsson, Tello. Afellay, Traore are the kind of players liverpool needs… we have to get very good players with a lot of love for the cluband passio to excel and that wll certinly ensure they give they all for the club and make us win whatever competition we enter…Why haven;t we made a signing as yet in the off season?? are we going to allow the all the best available players to be signed by ambitious clubs??? Wake up liverpool management!!!!!!!

I think that liverpool should take Tello on loan(Barcelona refuse to sell him),splash out 15 million euros for papiss cisse ,buy malouda from chelsea for about 5 million euros.Also:
