Norwich striker Kei Kamara is aiming to inspire his team to another shock victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Chris Hughton’s side go into next Monday’s game hoping to complete a league double over the English Premier League leaders, having beaten them 1-0 at Carrow Road in November.

And Kamara, who became the first player from Sierra Leone to score in the English top flight during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Everton, is eager to pull off another memorable victory.

“We (Kansas City) were the only team in the States to beat them and I scored and got an assist in a 2-1 friendly win,” he said, referring to a pre-season triumph over United with his Major League Soccer parent club.

“Almost everyone was in the United team including Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, and Dimitar Berbatov scored their goal. All their top guys were playing.

“So I suppose I might be a marked man against them next week now. But that actually makes it a lot of fun for me.

“I’m used to it in America and it just means I have to work much harder because you have to do different tricks to get past people and I really enjoy that.”

The 28-year-old on loan with Norwich from Sporting Kansas City until the end of the season.
