Keane: Galaxy need confidence

Robbie Keane is hoping LA Galaxy can reverse their fortunes when they face the Seattle Sounders in the MLS on Sunday.

Galaxy have lost three of their last four matches, including a 1-0 defeat to the New York Red Bulls on Sunday to leave them fourth in the Western Conference standings.

And the Irishman is hoping that a positive result against the Sounders can alter their poor run of form.
“Hopefully it’s a good game for us to get back to winning ways after a disappointing result against Red Bull,” Keane said.
“It’s a game where we’re hoping to get our confidence going again.
“Seattle are always a good team. They are a tough team to play against, every time we play against them it’s always a competitive game and we expect no less on Sunday.”
Victory will be a difficult task for the Galaxy, as the Sounders have scored four goals in consecutive games and can leapfrog LA in the standings.
The game is a repeat of last season’s Western Conference final, which Galaxy won 4-2 on aggregate.
