Inter Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Ajax defender Kenny Tete, Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri will attempt to reinforce full-back positions in the January window, and they were recently linked with moves for Stephan Lichtsteiner and Domenico Criscito.
Latest reports suggest that Ajax starlet Kenny Tete is also on their radar, which is hardly surprising considering that the 20-year-old can operate anywhere across the back four.
Considering that the talented footballer has less than two years left on his current deal, the Amsterdammers may have no choice but to sell in the winter.
Tete is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of Ajax’s youth academy in recent years, and he has already made 28 Eredivisie appearances for the club.
The youngster was mostly used as left-back of late, and he also has 4 Netherlands caps to his name.
