Kevin Keegan believes that he had been forced out of his managerial job at Newcastle United after players were put on the transfer list without his authorization or knowledge.
His claim of constructive dismissal is due to be heard by a three-man Premier League panel.
Keegan is set to fight for the alleged ₤8 million that is still owed to him for the remainder of his contract.
He has been out of management since September.
