According to the LMA (League ManagersÂ’ Association) Kevin Keegan has not resigned as manager at Newcastle United.

There had been confusion yesterday in which it was stated that he had resigned from his job at St JamesÂ’ Park.

It was speculated that Keegan, who is fifty seven years old, had left because of a clash with club officials relating to transfer policy.

Newcastle United have since issued a statement that Keegan had not been sacked. This has been corroborated by the MLA who have said that he had not walked out of the club.

This is KeeganÂ’s second spell as manager at Newcastle United.
