Relegated Primera Liga team Real Zaragoza are prepared to sell talented Argentinean midfielder Pablo Aimar.

It is reported that the Spanish club are prepared to let the player go for a modest ₤6.5 million. The club would be unable to pay his wages outside of the Spanish top flight.

Newcastle UnitedÂ’s manager Kevin Keegan has been showing interest in the player especially seeing that he has lost his influential midfielder Emre to TurkeyÂ’s Fenerbahce.

However it is not going to be cut and dried as Rafa Benitez had previously shown LiverpoolÂ’s interest during the January transfer window when the club were unsuccessful in their attempt to gain his signature for ₤10 million.
