Kevin Nolan joins Magpies

Newcastle United have completed the £4million signing of Kevin Nolan. The former Bolton Wanderers captain has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at St James’ Park after being given permission to talk to the Magpies on Thursday evening.

“It’s all happened so quickly but it was an opportunity I couldn’t say no to,” Nolan told the club’s official website. “I can’t wait to play in front of these fans every week and I’m really looking forward to the next four-and-a-half years.”
