Kewell was a member of the team that played against them in Turkey during that ill-fated UEFA Cup night when two of our fans were tragically stabbed to death, and many more were seriously injured by the murderous actions of Galatasary supporters. The levels of violence in and around their stadium is beyond comparison with anywhere else in the world. Even the players have to come out of the tunnel protected by riot police shields, to save them from the bombardment of missiles that are hurled in their direction. Many, many players and officials have been physically assaulted on the field of play by Galatasary's moroninc following. For Kewell to now willingly embrace and commend this band of thugs is beyond the comprehension of all Leeds supporters.
