Koeman rules out Quintero move

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has denied that he has any interest in signing Porto winger Juan Quintero according to Sky Sports.

The South Coast club had been linked with a move for twenty-two year old who is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Rennes.

Quintero, was has also sparked interest from Arsenal, was part of the Colombia squad that attended last summer’s World Cup finals and played in three of their five games at the tournament.

However, Koeman has said that he is unlikely to bring in any new additions when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Saints are currently on a seven games unbeaten run in all competitions which has seen them move up to seventh place in the league and book themselves in the quarter finals on the League Cup.

They travel to bottom-of-the-table Sunderland on Saturday afternoon with the away win priced at 8/11.
