Fenerbahce attacker Milos Krasic is eager to make an impact at the club after working his way back to full fitness following a long absence.

The 28-year-old Serbian suffered an injury in the second leg of his side’s Champions League qualifying round defeat to Spartak Moscow in August after joining the club earlier that month.

Speaking to Fenerbahce’s monthly magazine, Krasic said he was upbeat about his future with the Turkish Super Lig side.

“I know that Fenerbahce are among the world’s best 10-15 teams,” he said.

“Before I accepted the offer, I was given some information from Mateja Kezman about the club. He spoke positively about Fenerbahce and Turkey.

“I’m happy in here but I’m in bad physical condition. I had my first serious injury and it affected me badly. But now I’m ready and I want to give myself to the team.

“(Coach) Aykut Kocaman can rely on me. When I start to play regularly, everything will be fine. I want to prove myself.

“This situation is increasing the quality of football. But if we work to full capacity, there is no team that can beat us.”

Fenerbahce find themselves in third place in the league with 23 points from 13 games.
