Kuyt will not join Juventus

Liverpool ace Dirk Kuyt’s agent insists the Dutchman will not be joining Juventus in the January transfer window.

Reports in the Italian press has linked Kuyt with a move to Juventus as a replacement for Czech ace Pavel Nedved, who is expected to retire from football at the end of the season.

“Kuyt is good at Liverpool and until he actually receives an offer does not think of going elsewhere,” Karel Jansen told the Italian press.

“If you receive a proposal from an important club then you think of this, but for now there is nothing.

“I do not know anything of this story. At the moment I have not received any phone call, not from Juventus or anybody.

“We are talking to Liverpool to try and renew his contract.”
