Real Madrid are considering a summer bid for Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker, Sunday People has revealed.
Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a summer swoop for Spurs star Gareth Bale, but it appears they could sign Kyle Walker instead.
Real Madrid officials have been looking at targets for the right-back position and they are convinced the England international has got what it takes to succeed at Camp Nou.
Los Merengues believe Walker would be a great long-term replacement for Alvaro Arbeloa, and are ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with a summer bid.
It is believed that the talented defender would cost around £15 million, which is well within Real’s price range.
Kyle Walker joined Tottenham from Sheffield United in the summer of 2009 and has quickly developed into one of the best right-backs in the Premiership.
He has made a total of 66 league appearances for Spurs, and scored 3 goals in the process.

I agree on the Mourinho leaving part. That’s true, he’s too good to see him leaving the club, he’s done a lot to get them back on the right track. And still he ‘s able to do more, he’s The Only One as he claimed.
Yeah, Modric seems to not get accustomed there and might leave the club. I heard some speculations that he might head back to Premier League.
As for Kyle being better than Arbeloa. Only partly. Alvaro’s drawbacks are his physicality. He’s powerful (as well as Kyle) but isn’t that fast anymore and that gives Walker an advantage. And obviously he’s getting older. But don’t forget Arbeloa is an amazing tactician and this is the thing that makes Mou use him instead of any other defender. Though, IMO Kyle would quickly get to the first squad.
Real Madrid as the club that earns more money than any other club can easily afford Bale and Kyle. I think they’ll go for it.
I disagree on Callejon part. He’s good, he loves Real and I think he already proved he’s a valuable player that Real can use. He does well offensively and defensively.
If Marcelo and Coentrao played well on both sides, they would be used both simultaneously but so far we haven’t had a chance to see them play on both sides of defense (or maybe they’ve played and I ain’t seen that). That must mean something and probably means they don’t play as good on the right side as on the left one. So they’re both kept strictly on the left back position.

Of course there are defenders better than Arbeloa. One of them might be Kyle. If he’s not better now, he WILL be better later, he’s still young and a great prospect.
I also expected Nani to come to Real but I bet Ferguson eventually paid him the money he requested and forgot about moving. Still I prefer Bale to him, though.
For now they don’t need a new goalkeeper. Casillas can be on the very top for 2 maybe 3 seasons. And also there’s Diego Lopez who’s pretty good.
