Forbes magazine has named Los Angeles Galaxy the most valuable team in Major League Soccer.
Galaxy is by far the most valuable team, as Forbes say they are worth $100 million while Toronto FC, who are the league’s second most valuable team, are worth $44 million.
Los Angeles Galaxy is owned by Los Angeles-based company AEG. Herbalife pays $4million a year to have their logo on the Galaxy kit.
The value Los Angeles Galaxy was boosted by the arrival of David Beckham, and reports says the club sold 300,000 replica kits with Beckham on the back.
